The Eden Project
Developed by a team headed by Tim Smit at the no longer used Bodelva china clay pit, and described as the "eighth wonder of the Architectural world". The biomes are said to be the biggest conservatories in the world.
The aim of the project?
“To create a set worthy of a living theatre mounting the planets greatest drama. The Eden project is a gateway into the entwined world of plants and people, showing why we need plants, how we use them, and why we need to look after them.”Eden - The First Book
